Our Certification
TIOPA, Inc. became certified as a 5.01 (a) association in July 1995 as a vehicle to secure fee for service managed care agreements. We also develop partnerships with ACO/MSSP programs with NO RISK to our TIOPA providers. This certification reflects our commitment to operating within a structured and compliant framework, ensuring the highest standards of service for our members.
Physician-Owned IPA
TIOPA, Inc. is an independent, physician-owned IPA which is managed by a nine-member Board of actively practicing physicians licensed in the State of Texas. Our leadership is deeply rooted in the medical community, ensuring that our operations are always aligned with the needs and expectations of healthcare professionals.
Credentialing Standards
TIOPA’s credentialing staff utilizes National Committee of Quality Assurance (NCQA) standards and has received delegated credentialing status for all of the managed care organizations with which TIOPA is contracted. This rigorous approach ensures that our providers meet the highest standards of professional excellence.
Statement of Mission
The mission of TIOPA, Inc. is to ensure that patients throughout North Texas have access to quality, cost-effective medical care through a cohesive network of physicians.
Statement of Purpose
The Corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable purposes by engaging in (i) the delivery of health care to the public and (ii) the instruction of the general public in the areas of medical science, public health, and hygiene and related instruction useful to the individual and beneficial to the community.
